Wildwood Press - Relief/Laser Cut Plates     Larger prints: [ SLIDESHOW ] 48"x48"    Smaller prints: [ SLIDESHOW ] 24"x24" These are relief prints of component parts inked separately and printed on Wildwood's handmade paper. Variations in transparency happen with multiple overprinting or when thicker or thinner paper is employed. Some pieces are printed on both sides. The plates are generated from handmade drawings and laser-cut. All prints are unique while being part of a series. Thematically I worked with the "flower form" as a jumping off point and was also inspired by medieval rose windows. These continue my interest in the use of a modular unit transformed through repetition and relate to other works in "hard edge forms". Wildwood Press - Photo Litho Manipulated     [ SLIDESHOW ] These photo litho prints on Wildwood's handmade paper were generated from large digital files of existing drawings, enlarged and manipulated and broken into 4 plate sections. Many have the addition of flat ink layers that add a depth and "atmosphere" and some printed also on the back. All prints are unique while being part of a series.
